IAQFP Certified—Financial Planners undergo a vigorous vetting, accrediting, and certifying process to be identified as a QFP—QUALIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, under Financial Planning’s single, unifying identifier (designation).
Once IAQFP Certified, such QFP are permitted inclusion in the public, 24/7, FREE online resource better known as the: QFP Verification Registry of Qualified Financial Planners, which serves as the world’s largest and most inclusive Registry of Qualified Financial Planners wherein anyone can both VERIFY & FIND Financial Planning Pro’s; namely, those identified as QFP—QUALIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERS. IAQFP Certified QFP's are subject to continuous, ongoing adherence to IAQFP Standards, resulting in a professional, public Registry, on which the public can objectively reasonably and safely rely.
QFP—QUALIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Designation Certificates: Every QFP Verification Registry Registrant, following the processing and approval of their QFP Registration / Certification & IAQFP Affiliation, are provided access to a printable (color) wall or picture frame mountable QFP Certificate, containing their: Full Legal Name, Certificate Issue Date, and Certificate ID Number.
Two-Step Process Explained...
STEP 1: Getting IAQFP Certified & Registering your QFP Credential
At the very bottom of this page you will see a direct link to Affiliate with IAQFP if you are not yet already Registered, wherein you will be asked to create (or update if an existing registrant) your Registration Record. As a part of this Registration, you will input the following Data into our online form:
- Create a Login User Name (“UN”), which is to be your preferred contact email address.
- Create a Password (“PW”) of your choosing.
- Input and/or update your personal and business data.
- Input your Underlying Qualifying Designation(s) (“UQD”), that currently includes any one or more of the following designations (with still others under consideration): ChFC®; PFS™; CFP®; MSFS & MS (the latter two with a concentrated study in the learned Financial Planning methodology and discipline).
- Upload your Professional photo (not required, but does enhance your showing in the online live QFP Verification Registry.
- Upload or re-upload your “Proving Documents” related to your UQD (i.e., Designation Certificate, Diploma, Degree, etc.), that confirm the details and date that you successfully earned said Underlying Qualifying Designation(s) (“UQD”).
Submit your Registration that includes an ATTESTATION to your ongoing continuous compliance with IAQFP Standards. The Annual Attestation is required for your continued inclusion in the VERIFY & FIND, FREE, 24/7, publicly searchable: QFP Verification Registry of QUALIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERS.
STEP 2: Selecting your AFFILIATION TYPE as either an IAQFP MEMBER or IAQFP Associate
IAQFP MEMBERS get a “Premium Listing” in the QFP Verification Registry (the worlds largest IAQFP Certified—Financial Planners Registry that also offers so listed QFP the best advertising value and venue in existence) to include: Full Name, Business Contact Info, Financial Planning & Other Professional Designations and Licenses (Securities), Bio and/or Areas of Specialization information. The QFP Verification Registry also provides such IAQFP MEMBER Affiliates with an online “Contact this QFP” automated email form, which facilitates a prospect's ability to reach out to those listed MEMBER Affiliates directly from their live online QFP Registry fully searchable profile.
IAQFP MEMBER or IAQFP Associate Affiliation Selection Options: we recognize that while all QFP are eligible to be placed in our public resource, not all such persons will choose to also be an IAQFP MEMBER; therefore, we offer 2 Affiliation Options.
I-A. IAQFP MEMBER: Membership Dues are only $199 annually (discounted under either the 3 or 5-year Multi-Year or LIFETIME MEMBER payment options shown below):
I-B. IAQFP—LIFETIME MEMBER: for a deeply discounted 1x Flat Fee of $3,500, your MEMBER affiliation will be paid in full for the rest of your life, thereby providing much-needed funds to assist IAQFP in more comprehensively meeting its’ Mission, while also being able to best reach and help the public be better protected via the use of our QFP Verification Registry and enforcement of our profession and public-guarding IAQFP Standards.
II-A. IAQFP Associate: this includes a QFP Registry Listing but of Name and QFP Designation ONLY. While this does not require any Dues, it does come with an Annual Admin Fee, currently, $125 (discounted under the Lifetime payment option shown below), that helps to cover maintaining the public QFP Verification Registry, the overall ANNUAL Registration/Verification/Affiliation process, and other operational expenses of our not-for-profit volunteer organization.
II-B. IAQFP—LIFETIME Associate: for a deeply discounted 1x Flat Fee of $2,800, your Associate affiliation will be paid in full for the rest of your life, thereby providing much-needed funds to assist IAQFP in more comprehensively meeting its’ Mission, while also being able to best reach and help the public be better protected via the use of our QFP Verification Registry and enforcement of our profession and public-guarding IAQFP Standards.
